RizLearn (“we”, “us”) provides school management software. This policy explains what data we collect through rizlearn.in and the RizLearn mobile app, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Who owns the data
School data (students, teachers, attendance, fees, grades, messages) is owned by the school. RizLearn is a data processor acting on the school's instructions.
2. What we collect
- Account: name, email, phone, role, school.
- Academic: attendance, marks, homework, fees, payroll entries created by school staff.
- Technical: IP, device, browser, basic usage logs for security & reliability.
- Contact form: name, email, phone, school, message — sent to admin@rizlearn.in.
3. How we use it
- Run the features the school subscribes to (attendance, fees, chat, etc.).
- Send service notifications (account, billing, security).
- Improve product quality and prevent abuse.
We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising.
4. Where data lives
Data is stored on MongoDB Atlas in regions chosen to keep latency low for Indian users. Backups are encrypted at rest.
5. Your rights
You can ask the school to view, correct or delete your data. Schools acting as data controllers can write to admin@rizlearn.in for export or deletion requests.
6. Children
RizLearn handles minors' data only on instruction of their school under Indian law. Parents can request access via the school.
7. Updates
We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be communicated to schools by email.
